My brother in law was at UPMC Shadyside this week. He had excellent care by all staff. I would like to send a special thank you to the ICU nurses Cierra and Jack. They were beyond kind and attentive. His care in the cardiothroacic ICU as well as the 3rd floor was outstanding. Thank you for your attentiveness and commitment to patient care.

We took our son who has Autism to UPMC Shadyside (we had never been there before). The Hospital (and parking) were easy to find. The medical personnel were excellent. They did a great job working with our son even though he can't communicate due to his Autism.

The entire staff, from the nurses to the support team, was incredibly caring and attentive, making what could have been a very stressful situation feel manageable and safe. The facility itself was immaculate—a testament to their commitment to patient well-being. My surgeon was truly outstanding, demonstrating not only world-class expertise in their field but also a compassionate bedside manner. My recovery has been smooth, and I attribute that to the top-notch care I received. This hospital is a beacon of excellence, and I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone in need of medical care

I cannot express how grateful I am for the care I’ve received in the hospital. Nurse Kim is AMAZING. The nurses are so attentive, sweet, and ask even the visitors if they need anything. They handled my anxiety so well and I really felt that the other doctors took time to help find what was best to reduce it. I have been through many hospitals and this is by far the best one. ❤️

The staff that cared for my mother in micu room 543 during her last few days of life were outstanding. They provided such compassionate care for her while also going above and beyond to do everything possible to comfort our family through the process. I can't thank them enough for getting us through this loss to our family.

I went to Shadyside for neck surgery. From the time I walked into the hospital, everyone was very nice and helpful, and I would use that hospital again. I was on the third floor, and all the nurses and other staff went above and beyond and took good care of me. Thank you, Chris.

From the nurses on floor, day and night, They went above and beyond to take care about me un an selfish and prefossional way regardless of my attitude or actions. The doctors were hands on and helped talk me through everything which was a blessing bc I was feeling terrible but they went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as they possibly could. kudos to them all and especially the luch lady, LisaHOPSON, KIERA, Sophia and betysy You are.all.amazing and really.made.a.nobody feel very appreciated Thank you very much for everything🙏❤️🙌
